Fader-ready track preparation
Before any work can begin, be sure to send the best version of you base tracks for mixing. The below export guidelines can help get you there.
Export Guidelines
A standardized export process preserves your creative intent and guarantees maximum headroom for the mixing stage.
DAW
I mix primarily in Cubase Pro and have a great collection of plug-ins from companies such as SSL, McDSP, Plugin Alliance, and Waves. I have hardware compressors I can mix through as well.
If your recording has been done in a different DAW, please make sure all tracks are consolidated and start from 0:00 and send as .WAV files. This will save time and ultimately, save money.

Please be sure to label all of your tracks appropriately (ie Kick Dum, Bass, Guitar 1, etc.) This will help me understand what each track is and save time importing and preparing your song.

TRACKS
ROUGH MIX
If you have a rough mix, please send it along as well. This will give me a general sense of the direction of the song. Feel free to include any reference tracks as well. Let me know what elements in the tracks you are looking for in your mix.

EDITING
I will mix your tracks as I receive them, but I am also able to edit drum tracks and do vocal correction.
Drums - I can edit and correct for any timing and phase issues provided that they were recorded to a click track.
Vocals - I can edit and tune vocals via Melodyne provided the tracks were recorded in good isolation without spill from other instruments.

REVISIONS
I will do up to three (3) revisions per song. Extra revision will be $35 per revision.

MASTERING
I am not a mastering engineer, nor do I want to pretend to be. I will leave this to the fine folks who do mastering for real. You will be much happier. For your final mix, I will provide a mix without limiting (this is the mix to send to mastering) and a mix with a limiter added to the stereo bus. This will add a commercial volume level if you decide not to have your song mastered.
